A Flower In Bloom

I’ve been doing a lot of branding exercises (thanks to the worksheets from Martine’s Branding Bliss Workshop) and note-taking recently. I don’t know, I’m starting to feel like I need to regroup and evaluate where I want this blog to go… in the long run. Anyway. I’ll talk about that when I’m ready.

For now, let me talk about our day. I have got to share the photos I captured of my little girl because they are some of the cutest I’ve taken for the longest time. I am just fascinated at how much she has grown. I can actually already see a young woman waiting to come out. #senti

She borrowed my red dress and black heels today. She said she wants to be as beautiful as Mommy. I told her she is beautiful as she is and that she should never let anyone tell her otherwise.

I know, those are deep words for a conversation with a 2-year old… but I think there is never really a right time to talk to our kids about these things. I like to start early on, so there. I will always remind her of the blessing that she is and I wish it will be engraved in her mind and heart so she will never forget her worth.

On a lighter note, I snapped this very adorable photo of my girl and Mila:

The Princess fell asleep while I was doing the laundry. Mila wasn’t sleepy because she just woke up from her nap, but she laid still anyway… because who wouldn’t enjoy a warm cuddle like this?

I know I would!

If you’re wondering where The Little Man was throughout the photo shoot, well, he was either sleeping or away with A. He takes two long naps every day; and when he’s awake, he looks for his dad. It makes me kinda jealous since he’s been super clingy to me ever since forever… until recently.

That’s my day with The Princess in photos. I hope you had a wonderful day, too!
