Stressed Out!

I am no super mom. As much as I love taking care of The Princess, I still can’t avoid a burn out. I guess the sleepless nights and restless days can take its toll on any parent.

Our baby girl is a little over two weeks old now and I’m already experiencing burn out. I’m concerned because come the start of classes, I’ll be juggling taking care of a baby, my online work and school! If I’m already experiencing burn out now, what will happen to me when school starts? It will definitely double — if not triple — the stress.

I know hubby will be with me the whole time. Besides, it’s just one semester… but that’s roughly four months of intense academics; add to that a growing baby that needs attention and clients that are demanding for my time.

I used to handle multitasking really good before The Princess came. I’m not sure what changed, but I’m feeling like I’m doing so many things all at the same time. I guess the difference now is, I can’t simply run away from the stress. Back when I was single, I’d simply go on a road trip to Tagaytay or Batangas when I’m stressed out. Now, however stressed I am, I have to stay and face the chaos.

What now? I’ll have to grow up and take it one day at a time. I’d like to think that we are still at an adaptation stage. As soon as we get a hang of it, I’m sure life will be less stressful. For now, I’m hoping to get some me time to recollect myself.

What do you do when you’re all stressed out?

Siguro naninibago pa kami since new parents. Haha. Ang galing mo naman magmanage, three kids! When my mom asked me kung balak pa namin sundan si Kelly, parang ayaw na namin. Hehe

Coffee makes me panicky. Hehe. Hot choco ang comfort drink ko 😀
