Nikkor Lens 50mm f/1.8D

I remember mentioning in my post two weeks ago that I bought something Arjay has been bugging me to buy. We were not able to use our SLR camera for months because we lost its charger. And, boy, I didn’t know camera chargers cost so much! That’s why I always delay buying it.
However, after lots of asking, Daddy A finally got me to buy a charger. With that, he also got me to buy new camera lens for our Nikon D3100. I couldn’t say no to his reasoning, which went something like: “Don’t you want really nice photos of you, Kelly and baby boy when he comes out?”

For the sole purpose of taking photos of our baby Kelly and soon, of baby boy, Daddy A chose to buy the Nikkor Lens 50mm f/1.8D.
I love taking photos, but this particular lens is rather hard to work with. For a lazy photographer-wanna-be like myself, it was difficult trying to learn all the manual adjustments that you need to make to get the perfect shot. A, on the other hand, enjoyed learning the twists and turns of our new lens.

How I wish I am as patient as he is!

With a working camera charger and with this new lens, expect better photos in Coffee With Kim! 🙂
