My Kid Just Said #12

The Princess is in Senior Nursery now and boy does she have a lot of things to say! I was talking to other moms a couple of days ago about the crazy things our preschoolers say and our stories really got us laughing out loud. Here’s one conversation I had with The Princess not so long ago…

The Princess: Mom, is my butt a living thing or non-living thing? (Their lesson in Science class that day was about living and non-living things.)

Me: What do you think?

The Princess: Um…it’s a living thing because it eats!

Me: It eats?!?!?!

The Princess: Yeah…it keeps eating my underpants…

Oh. My. Goodness. I didn’t know what to say. I just hope she won’t say that during her Student-Teacher Encounter!

Okay.  So a few nights ago, The Princess saw her brother just out of the bath and naked. She then starts to wonder why she doesn’t have a penis. I was already making up an answer in my mind when she blurted this out…

The Princess: Did my pututoy fall off while I was coming out of your tummy?

I know I should’ve taken that time to explain the male and female anatomy, but really, I am never prepared for these things. AS IN NEVER! I’ll remember to discuss this with her soon. Thank goodness she hasn’t asked about where babies come from so I have time to research for when that time comes!

How about you, moms and dads? Are there crazy things your kids say that leave you out of words? Share ’em in the comments section below!

Wahaha. Kaloka talaga siguro pag girl ano? My 3-year old girl keeps calling us my mother, my father and my brother instead of the usual mommy, daddy and Kuya. Once she squealed “my brother, welcome home!! ” haha. Kala mo ang Tagal Di nagkita
