The Little Man’s 1st Birthday and Max’s Restaurant Kiddie Party Packages

Max's Birthday Party

Last Sunday, we celebrated our Little Man’s first birthday. Time flies! It seems just like yesterday when we welcomed our boy to this world. Now, he’s walking, talking and playing with other kids!

Mom On Duty

If you are looking for kiddie party packages that are affordable and hassle-free, I highly recommend Max’s Restaurant! Aside from a comfortable venue and scrumptious food, they will also take care of the program, prizes and giveaways. So, we basically just chose the package we liked and we let them do the rest of the work!

There are four themes to choose from in Max’s Restaurant Kiddie Party Packages: Super Racer, Princess Palace, Junior Art Masters and Kiddie Chefs. Naturally, we chose the Super Racer Birthday Theme for our boy. There are three kids meals and three menus for adults for the Super Racer and Princess Palace themes:

For entertainment, Max’s recommended clowns for the party. I’m not a big fan of clowns, but the duo we got are pretty good! Aside from livening up the party with kid-friendly jokes and super fun games (grabe our kiddie guests ha — bibbo!), they also made balloon figures with the kids.

Mom On Duty

The kids weren’t the only ones who enjoyed the party. Our adult guests equally had fun because like what I said, our clowns and kiddie guests are super game!

Max's Birthday Party

If you can remember, when we were Daddy A was planning The Little Man’s party (I challenged him to plan a party so he’d know how hard it is haha), we wanted a barrio fiesta-themed birthday party. But, because my dearest husband likes cramming, he wasn’t able to plan for the theme we agreed to and just booked a themed party at Max’s Restaurant.

Max's Birthday Party

The funny thing is, he still tried to insert bits of the barrio fiesta theme (in a super racer party!) by getting a children’s band to play while the guests were eating. Haha!

Max's Birthday Party

After our early dinner, the clowns went right back into party mode and showed off some magic tricks that the children, again, really enjoyed.

Max's Birthday Party

After the magic show, Max’s Restaurant mascot came out for a dance number and photo shoot with the guests. We then sang another happy birthday song for The Little Man (which we weren’t able to take a photo of, thanks to Tita P for being so quick to take shots #beingsarcastichere haha) after which we gave each child a goodie bag.

The party, however, did not end in Max’s Restaurant. #umaafterparty We invited our guests to our new home and had a small party for the adults.

Mom On Duty

And that’s The Little Man’s first birthday! It wasn’t as bongga as The Princess’ birthday, but I have to say, this one was extremely fun. 🙂

Good job, Daddy A, for the first birthday party you planned! And happy, happy, happy birthday to our Little Man. Always be a good boy, baby!

    1. Kimberley Reyes

Hi Myrna, the kids just happened to stop by that weekend at Max’s to serenade the diners. My husband gave them a generous tip so they’d hang out at our party first to sing for the guests.

    1. Kimberley Reyes

Hi Bernadette. Unfortunately, we no longer have the contact number of our clowns. 🙁 Max’s Ortigas Ext. Taytay contacted them for us so they probably have it.

      1. Bernadette Gabarda

        Okay.Thanks Kimberley.

hi..ask ko sana kung anong program meron ang max’s kapag baptismal and birthday ang celebration..paano ang set up.?gusto rin sana naming super hero ang theme ng birthday g baby ko..I want sana yung face painting for the kids, clown and magician and parlor games..please let me know..i know I asked a lot, pero for sure naman ill choose maxs.roughly 70plus ang pax..and really want to know how much aabutin..kahit estimation lang..please..thanks again…Kaye

    1. Kimberley Reyes

Hi Kaye, for my son’s birthday party, aside from the food, they set up the venue for us according to the theme we chose from their list. As for extra entertainment like clowns and face painters, Max’s can recommend vendors to you, just ask them. I am not from Max’s, fyi, so my answers are based on my experience with them. It’s best to visit the branch you plan to celebrate the party in and ask them directly.

Are there any corkage about bringing food in a restaurant like a chocolate fondue? My son is about to celebrate his 2nd birthday at mandaluyong and I want to have a chocolate fondue, because it’s a party eye catcher. I bought my mini chocolate fountain at goods.ph for my son’s birthday. Can you please inform me about the corkage thingy? Here’s my email address (madishley02@gmail.com). Thank you very much!

    1. Kimberley Reyes

Hi Ashley, I’m afraid I can’t answer your question because when we celebrated our son’s birthday at Max’s, we bought everything from them: the cake, the entertainment, food, etc. The best thing to do at this point is to call/visit the branch where you booked the party to clarify this with them.

Awesome pictures. Every parent dreams of giving the best birthday party for his child. For those who want to take a load off their shoulders when it comes to worrying about the food to be served, entertainment, venue, and other factors, a convenient option would be to book a party at best restaurant. Enjoy your dinner in one of the finest restaurants in the city and let us book your table.

      1. Kim Reyes

Hi Lhen, we no longer have the contact details of the clowns we hired. 🙁 Max’s Restaurant along Ortigas Ext. referred them to us so they should have the clowns’ contact there.

  9. erika

Do they have a corkage fee for the clowns?

    1. Kim Reyes

Hi Mabel, please check your inbox. 🙂

  13. Janice

Happy birthday to your little boy! 🙂 I love kiddie parties. We’ve never tried a kiddie birthday party at Max’s though, just their baptismal party package. This is something we have to consider in the future though seeing as how all your guests had fun. 🙂

  14. I attended a party at Max’s a couple of months ago, and I remember that there was so much food! Nice to know that they have really sulit packages. Gives us mommies another, really good restaurant option for parties that are affordable.

    1. Mom On Duty

That’s true. There was a lot of food! We didn’t even order extra ha. It’s really sulit at Max’s!

  15. Peachy @ The Peach Kitchen

Belated Happy Birthday to your little man! I’m sure he had fun at his party.

  16. Maria Teresa Figuerres

Belated happy birthday to your son! We love Max’s Restaurant, too, but we haven’t tried any of their birthday packages. It looks like fun!

  17. Mitz

Naaliw ako that your husband was game enough to plan a kiddie party. Buti na lang may themed party packages ang Max’s! I love your photos btw. What camera do you use?

    1. Mom On Duty

We had a deal eh. I told him if he screws up, I’ll plan the next party and the budget will be set by me. Haha! I’m using Nikon D3100. 🙂

  18. emiliana

Max’s kiddie party bundles are such a steal! I would ditch my plans of holding my daughter’s birthday at a fastfood chain in favor of Max’s

    1. Mom On Duty

Okay ang packages, right? And sobra sobra ang food. 🙂

      1. acel

Hi my baby will also celebrate his 1st Bday in Max’s on March. Did u rent video and photo?

        1. Kimberley Reyes

No. All photos here were either taken by me, my husband or my sister. 🙂

          1. Maricel

Hi Ms. Kimberly. I’m planning for my daughter’s baptism and 1st birthday at the same time. Ask ko contact number ng clowns and magician and how much? May idea ka rin ba sa umlimited face painting and how much? available din ba lahat ng yon sa Max’ s Restaurant sa mga mall? please send it to my email address lahat kung meron ka pa suggestions. margjs06142002@yahoo.com. Thank you.
