Last week, I had the opportunity to join an intimate lunch with other moms at Museum Cafe in Greenbelt 4. It was an interesting gathering since there was a mix of new moms, moms who have two or more children, moms who have little ones and moms who have bigger kids. Although we all have different family set ups, we all have one thing in common: we are moms who want nothing but the best and safest for our children.
We talked about so many things about motherhood, and one topic that came up is how we take care of our children’s skin. We all know that a child’s skin is more sensitive so we need to take good care of their skin by only using products that are formulated for their baby skin.
And guess what? The trusted skin care brand of adults now has products that are perfect for children! Belo Baby guarantees that all their products are 100% certified all-natural. You read that right, all Belo Baby products have zero harmful chemicals in them. Each ingredient was meticulously selected to ensure that the products are all-natural, safe and gentle. Some of the major ingredients include:
Cocoa Butter, which contains antioxidant qualities that help protect skin from the outside. It keeps the skin healthy by strengthening and deeply moisturizing it. With its anti-inflammatory properties, it also relieves common skin irritations like rashes.
Shea Butter is a superfood for the skin and hair. It heals, protects, nourishes, and moisturizes skin from damage and dryness. It is suitable for all skin types and naturally heals common skin conditions of babies like eczema and diaper rash.
Sweet Almond Oil locks moisture into the skin and is a good exfoliator.
It should be noted, too, that each ingredient has a certification that they are indeed all-natural and safe. Yep, they got each ingredient certified just in case a parent asks. 😀
With all these ingredients, you might be thinking that Belo Baby products are expensive. To be honest, when I saw that the products are by Belo, I immediately thought they’d be expensive. Plus, since we use natural products on the minis already, I am aware that these usually come at a hefty price. The good news is, Belo Baby made sure that although their products are top quality, they are also priced reasonably.
Let’s take a look at those products…
The Belo Baby Bar Soap (PHP 79.75) is rich in cocoa butter, shea butter, and sweet almond oil to nourish and condition delicate skin. It is absolutely free of SLS, sulfates, sodium tallowate, tetrasodium etidronate, EDTA parabens, pthalates, DEA, triclosan, synthetic preservatives, paraffin, petrochemicals, and common allergens.
My daughter’s personal favorite, the Belo Baby Face and Body Lotion (PHP 224.75) is also rich in cocoa butter, shea butter, and sweet almond oil. It does a really good job in nourishing the skin and doesn’t feel sticky at all!
If you like all-in-one soaps like me, then you’ll love the Belo Baby Hair and Body Wash (PHP 219.75). Like the above two, it is also packed with shea butter and sweet almond oil that helps nourish and condition skin.
Aside from bath time essentials, Belo Baby also launched three new colognes that I’m sure even the adults will want to use. They smell so good! According to my daughter, they smell like, “Candy and clouds.” I guess she means they smell heavenly? 😀
If you’re wondering where you can buy the Belo Baby products, they will be available in all big supermarket and drugstore chains as well as small mom and pop stores nationwide. If you don’t feel like going out, you can also order their products from Cudsly, Zalora and Lazada.
As a treat for us moms, Belo also gave us a bag of goodies that will surely come in handy this summer. I’m definitely bringing these to the beach with me!
Thank you so much to the Belo Baby team for inviting me to the launch of these wonderful products! Many thanks to Ms. Cristalle Belo and her research and development team for answering all our questions, as well as to the Belo Baby mombassadors Patty Laurel-Filart, Kelly Misa, and Nicole Hernandez for sharing your experience with us! Of course, huge thanks to Museum Cafe for serving THE best food.
